I have always been interested in photography. Not the art style, but taking pictures in general. For the last 10 years, my focus has been more on toy photography, more specifically LEGO photography. Ever since I discovered I can create myself in LEGO form (called sigfig, short for signature figure) and have all kinds of adventures, I have been obsessed with it.
But that’s not how I started. I was always interested in photographing beautiful skies, the moon at night (or during the day), macro photographing flowers, insects when I can, animals in general, cats specifically, slowing time, speeding it up, and so on. Here, you can find a collection of the various subjects I have photographed since… well, let’s just say a very long time 🙂
I have used cameras with films (I’ll upload those when I can), and digital cameras since they first came out. The camera that got me interested in trying all kinds of different things was a Mamiya/Sekor 500 TL. These days, I prefer to use my phone (iPhone 13), since it’s easy to carry around. One day, however, I will get a professional camera to try all kinds of new stuff.
